Jeremy N. Boeder
Jeremy Boeder concentrates his practice on complex litigation, professional liability defense, and counseling professionals facing civil, regulatory, and disciplinary matters. He represents attorneys, accountants, architects, engineers, insurance agents and brokers, real estate professionals, project managers, and other professionals in a wide range of litigation and risk-management matters. His practice also includes contract disputes, insurance coverage counseling and litigation, construction-related matters, security industry litigation, and other general tort and injury defense.
An experienced litigator, Jeremy has successfully guided clients through mediation and arbitration proceedings, jury and bench trials, and appellate litigation. He is known for providing practical, strategic counsel tailored to each client’s professional, personal, and financial objectives, helping clients navigate complex legal challenges while minimizing risk and disruption to their businesses and careers.
Jeremy is deeply involved in the legal profession and is currently the Co-Chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Professional Responsibility Committee and has long served as Chair or Co-Chair of the Practising Law Institute’s Illinois Professional Responsibility MCLE program. A recognized authority on legal ethics and professional liability, he frequently speaks and writes on these topics for bar associations, professional organizations, and legal publications. He has contributed to the IDC Quarterly Monograph and regularly analyzed developments in professional liability law for the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Lawyers’ Professional Liability.
Jeremy’s professional accomplishments have earned widespread recognition. Law Bulletin Publishing Company has repeatedly named him a Leading Lawyer in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Professional Malpractice Defense, and Personal Injury Defense—an honor awarded to fewer than five percent of attorneys licensed in Illinois. Before receiving this distinction, he was recognized as an Illinois Emerging Lawyer in the same practice areas. Jeremy has also been repeatedly selected for inclusion in Illinois Super Lawyers for his work in Professional Liability Defense. Earlier in his career, he was recognized as an Illinois Rising Star by Super Lawyers for multiple years. In 2017, the American Society of Legal Advocates named him one of the Top 40 Litigation Lawyers Under 40 in Illinois, an honor bestowed on fewer than 1.5% of eligible attorneys statewide.
